Julian Bell
Consultant
Julian is a senior communications leader and former Managing Director at Clemenger BBDO, specializing in high-stakes strategic counsel and large-scale advertising programs for Australia’s most prominent brands. With a career defined by navigating complex media landscapes, he has successfully led “Agency Villages” for Federal and State governments, delivering integrated campaigns across PR, research, and corporate communications. Most notably, his leadership on the award-winning “Be That Teacher” campaign earned the Australian Marketing Institute’s 2024 Campaign of the Year. From Defense Force Recruiting to Victorian health initiatives, Julian excels at bridging the gap between brand identity and policy success through impactful, insight-driven storytelling.
Cornel Ozies
Consultant
Cornel is a Kimberley-based cinematographer who began his career at Goolarri TV before transitioning from award-winning directing to professional camera work. A graduate of AFTRS, he has contributed his technical expertise to a wide range of high-profile projects, including The Sapphires, Thor: Ragnarok, and The Great Gatsby. From NITV cooking series to powerful documentaries, Cornel’s freelance work is driven by a passion for capturing unique Indigenous stories with a refined, cinematic perspective.
Brendan Blacklock
Consultant
Brendan Blacklock is a Biripi and Ngarabal cinematographer, AFTRS graduate, and the founder of Blacklock Media. Raised on Dharug Country, Brendan has spent over a decade establishing a reputation for authentic, respectful storytelling across drama, documentary, and commercial television. His diverse portfolio includes acclaimed projects for the ABC and SBS, such as Blak Ball and The Knowledge Keepers, alongside high-profile commercial work for the Ray-Ban × Meta campaign. A dedicated advocate for First Nations narratives, he produced the landmark repatriation documentary The Return of the Gweagal Spears and has crafted essential visual content for the National NAIDOC Awards and Sydney WorldPride 2023. By blending technical mastery with a deep cultural understanding, Brendan brings a grounded, cinematic eye to every production, ensuring each story is told with truth, beauty, and an enduring respect for Country.
Brad Cooke
Co-Founder Engagement Specialist & Indigenous Creative
Problem solver, creative, connector, mentor. Brad has spent his career working in Indigenous community organisations, public service, non-profi ts and corporates with a focus on building Indigenous employment, project and events management. He is an experienced broadcaster/producer on NITV, ABC Grandstand and Koori radio in Redfern. Community engagement is one of Brad’s many strong points.

Peter Kirk

Peter is a proud Indigenous storyteller. He is an award winning multi-channel producer of content, director and screenwriter. Integral to developing pathways people, Peter played a key role in setting up the AWARD school Indigenous Scholarship program. He regularly consults with agencies and government departments to influence policy and tangible reconciliation outcomes
